What it does well

Motive's GPS fleet tracking refreshes vehicle and driver location every one to two seconds through its Fleet View dashboard and mobile app, and layers live traffic and weather conditions onto the map to support route planning.

Key features for a trade business fleet

The AI Dashcam Plus adds live two-way calling so a manager can reach a driver directly about a time-sensitive issue, like fatigued driving or a maintenance flag, without the driver needing to pick up a phone, and its Collision Evidence Capture feature is built to identify license plates in hit-and-run or theft situations to help resolve claims.

The Motive Card layers spend controls on top of a standard fleet card, letting an admin restrict a cardholder's spending by amount, time window, day or merchant category, and block specific spend categories outright.

Limits to know
